What are Virgin Points worth?
There is no single cash value. Measure the fare a real reward replaces after subtracting the taxes, fees and carrier charges you still pay.

The calculation
(Comparable cash fare − reward cash charges) ÷ Virgin Points used. Multiply by 100 to express the result in pence per point. The figure is personal to that booking because cash fares and reward prices move.
Use a fair cash comparison
Match the route, date, cabin, baggage, change rules and refundability. A premium-cabin headline fare is not a real saving if you would only have bought Economy. Also consider the points you could earn on a paid ticket.
Worked value example
If a comparable fare costs £900, the reward requires 50,000 Virgin Points and £250 in charges, the points replace £650 of cash. £650 divided by 50,000 is £0.013, or 1.30p per point. That is a redemption-specific result, not a promise that every Virgin Point is worth 1.30p.
