What the Qatar estimate represents

The calculator shows one-way prices for one passenger travelling from London. Choose a return journey or add passengers to see the estimated total.

Qatar notes that its calculator's amounts can include a transit through Doha. Routes, cabins and award availability can change, so always repeat the search with Qatar before moving Avios.

Avios are not Qpoints

Avios pay for rewards. Qpoints measure progress through Privilege Club status tiers. This tool estimates only the Avios needed for an award flight.

If your Avios currently sit with British Airways, read how to link BA and Qatar accounts.

Worked London examples

London to Doha: the current one-way planning estimate is 21,500 Avios in Economy or 43,000 in Business for one passenger. A return doubles the two one-way legs to 43,000 or 86,000 Avios.

Two people in Business: a London–Doha return gives a planning estimate of 172,000 Avios for the party, before taxes and carrier-imposed fees. The same calculation works for every destination shown.

Connecting itineraries: a destination beyond Doha may use the amount Qatar returned for an itinerary transiting Doha. Confirm the exact sectors, aircraft and cabin on the live booking screen.

Why First Class is not shown

Qatar says First rewards are limited to selected services and that First awards are unavailable to or from London on its A380 service. Showing a general London First Class estimate could therefore be misleading.

This calculator shows Economy and Business for London journeys. Qatar may offer First Class elsewhere in its network, so check the airline directly for your route.
