Check your linked balances first

Use the final live figures

Enter the actual Qatar or points-sale checkout price, the Avios received, the live award price, every tax or carrier charge, and a like-for-like cash fare. Do not use a promotional headline that is not offered to your account.

Treat existing Avios as valuable

The calculator makes a marginal top-up comparison: new purchase cost plus award charges versus cash. It does not pretend that Avios already held are free. Consider what those existing Avios could fund elsewhere, and leave a margin for availability disappearing before the purchase posts.
