How to qualify for Bronze
The current published route to Bronze is 3,500 tier points or 25 eligible BA-coded flights within the collection year from 1 April to 31 March. BA awards a tier when the threshold is reached; tier points cannot be spent and reset annually.

7 Avios per qualifying £1 with British Airways or American Airlines. Iberia flights use a separate euro-based rate. Other partners can calculate earnings by distance, cabin and fare.

Restrictions that change the real value
Bronze does not normally include lounge access. London City and JFK have specific priority-service exceptions, and exit-row or group-booking seat rules can differ. Always check the official benefit page for the airport, airline, fare and companion rules attached to your trip.
Is the next tier worth pursuing?
Value only the benefits you expect to use before your status expires. Start with lounge visits, baggage and seat-selection fees you would genuinely have paid, then compare that amount with any extra travel or fare cost required. Do not count a benefit at its retail price if you would not otherwise buy it.
